I'm sending them out on Monday, and I'm not sure if they'll make it to you by Wednesday, so the tenses may be off... But I hope you guys like them! :D

I apologize, in advance, for the ghetto-ness of it all. The outside is no indication of the craftsmanship on the inside. I don't have envelopes, let alone ones that fit the cards that I'm making, so I have to make my own, as I'm sure you guys have already seen. Sorry, I ran out of clear tape. Shoot, I just taped up Kristen and Angela's envelope and I didn't get a picture of the cards. Sadness... :(

Counting the days

This is a really long video, I know. Someone needs to shut me up...
Here's a quick summary of everything:
- doing a Target run this weekend to get into the Christmas spirit
- down to do a non stop, all day clifford crew webcam session this weekend, if anyone else is
- hoping to be home Tuesday night unless I get a ride
- won't be home Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend (I'll be in Reno and getting dropped off at school)
- will try to make it to Black Friday shopping with you homies, if not, another hang out later that day

First update from Davis

Sorry for trailing off a bunch of times guys, I've been out of it all day. Not getting the proper amount of sleep and studying all day does that to me. Hope you're all doing awesome! I think the general feeling is that sophomore year is better than freshman year. :)

I need to get out more, guys...

I haven't written here in a while, but this post will change all of that!! ^^

I got a haircut back in the end of August!! It's slowly growing.. haha I miss my long hair. I also plucked my eyebrows for the first time.. it was harddd my left eyebrow looks normal while the other one looks funkyy LOLOL good thing my bangs are covering it.

Overall, second year has been alright!! Classes are pretty good.. I rushed for a professional business fraternity this quarter, then decided halfway in that I didn't want to commit. I went and joined a business club on campus instead. xD

This upcoming week is gonna be a busy one for me! 2 midterms, 2 corporate info sessions, my first AS event! (I'm part of student govt), and career fair! I'm excited ^^

Year 2 begins! I miss you guys already, no matter how recent or long ago I've seen you all!
I have to say, I think I've gotten to see you guys more often this summer than I did last summer, which is awesome! I hope next summer we see each other even more!

Hello friends. I hope summer is giving you the wonderful time you deserve.

I just wanted to drop by and say that the coloring day really, really needs to happen. We could all draw each other and marvel and/or laugh at our artistic (in?)ability - and I say this because I know we have a few talented artists in our midst. But regardless of our individual abilities, this is an activity that must be done. It is imperative that we get on this!

I couldn't smile cause I'd probably look like a freak, more than I already do because I'm STUDYING while I'm at the happiest place on Earth.

Boo, finals! I could've enjoyed Disneyland and experienced the new Little Mermaid ride, but noooooooo. I decided to be a good girl. It's all good though, I'll just study next to the fire, or maybe if it's hot, I'll find an umbrella to sit under next to one of the three pools that the hotel has. Anyway, that's all for today!

Why you no work?

Blogger or my laptop has been malfunctioning and when I click " Choose a video to upload," a window doesn't prompt me to select a video. So I don't know what to do, I thought it was only a temporary thing, but it's been like that since last week...

It was a 6 minute video for procrastinating on studying for finals, but I won't take up anymore of your time by having you read all of this ranting in text form.

Stranger danger!

It's been a while since I've posted on here. Sorry about that. I would post a video blog but Jaime is sleeping, haha.

I've been extremely MIA on skype, too. Ah! So much fail. But I've been taking control of my school work and meditation is helping me handle everything that's happening right now. My last day of my freshman year of college is May 19th - it sounds far away, but it really isn't. There are so many papers and trips and laughs and anxieties and enjoyment between today and that day. It's crazy to think about.

I'm thinking about getting a job as a communication/tech person for CILSA next year. It fits really well, and I love CILSA as a whole; when I volunteered at the youth shelter, I was in good company with two very nice and pleasant ladies who are Bonner leaders.

Also: I've had the growing urge to take on ethnic studies as an additional minor (my other being French) or maybe a split or double major if SMC decides to upgrade. Luckily, my advisor is on the board for the ethnic studies program so she might be able to pull a few strings. She is a wonderful human being, like many of the faculty here on campus.

The (SUP)port Justice club is looking so good right now. I think I want to start doing things at the Peace Pole weekly or monthly... I should probably bring it up at the next club meeting. We made a very nice flag for Egypt and I can't wait to see what else we'll be doing. I love the club, I love my hallmates in the club, I love everyone I am getting to know in the club. Beautiful, involved, and excited people. That's what I like to see.

And to top it all off, the suite for next year is looking set. Life is alright. I'm going to Expressions of Blackness tonight and I am going to enjoy myself. I think after all of the future planning and extracurriculars, we always need to take time out to enjoy ourselves. Do it!

HI GUYSSSSSSS ^^

Sorry for the lack of updating again >__< I'm still nerding out - nothing too new from last quarter hahaha, but for once, I'm actually bored right now.. Weather's been ugly these past couple days, but it's nothing like what Norcal has been experiencing the whole week.. or so I've heard! It's President's Weekend, but I'm going to have to stay indoors because of the rain. T__T Noooo..

Mmm other than that, I've been great ^^, but I really miss my family.. called my mom a couple of nights ago and found out my grandma was sent to the emergency room the other night because of a lung infection.. she's about 86? years old, and she's also been losing her way around the household.. it makes me worry. Rara's also been making me worry too; don't really feel like elaborating on here, but if you ask me personally I can talk about it. Basically, I just feel like the whole family is falling apart, and I don't know what to say about it.. I never call home so I guess that contributes to it, too.

Take a breather

I've had to process quite a bit of information in the past few days.
I'm tired, frustrated, disappointed, sad, angry, confused, and just a whole lot of things lately. Life is quite the rollercoaster and I'm starting to get sick of these drops. Other than the news I've been receiving, I've been pretty good. I should definitely get to studying though; chem will be the death of me and I have a midterm coming up on Thursday. I have a lot of catching up to do. This class steals my soul!

a long blog for the long weekend I had

So, I was talking to my roomie, today. She's so cool, btw! And she thinks that it's creepy I remember details of our conversations. This is why I am afraid to say hi to people I remember from Kindergarten. Sigh. Lol, that is all. :D

Weekend Summary

Sorry my laptop was being weird and cuts out and then the audio and video don't match up sometimes, I don't know what's going on with my computer today...

Anyway, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I know I had one. I can't wait for future plans at Cal/St. Mary's. I need to put Santa Cruz on that list also. I really do want to visit, especially when it gets warmer so we can go to the beach because I look extremely pale according to Vicki... Please let me know if you agree, cause I seriously cannot tell. I'm not outside a lot like I was when we were in high school! I might start studying or reading outside now. Anyway, there's probably like half an hour before Jackie and Romer get back from mass, so I should get dressed... Today is a casual dress kind of day.

I can't wait to go home, but this weekend was an awesome first weekend back to school and a great way to start off the year. Sorry if I'm taking up so much of your time. This blog and the video itself are pretty much the longest entries I've done, but I've had an eventful weekend that needs to be told somewhere.

Hope you guys are good and keeping warm! And I want to see some more people come to Davis, I would love to do a group snowboarding trip if I can find a decently priced shuttle that goes to a decently priced ski resort. I think it'd be awesome. :)

I am so homesick already, you don't even know. I like college life, but it's nothing like what I've got when we're all back home.

I hope the new year brings nothing but good things for everyone! I'd better see all of your pretty faces on Skype or the like.

Too bad winter break wasn't longer... Miss you girls!

PS I just watched Justher's video, hehe... An and I will probably do our normal, creeper resolutions list, but a more doable one would include:
- Stay awake in class, and I guess this should include go to sleep and wake up at a reasonable time
- Do better in school; focus and stay driven
- Less facebooking, but Skype is okay
- Don't get sick
- Go work out and eat better
- Try not to go home as often (it breaks my heart to say that, but it hurts just as much to leave)
- Explore more of Davis, and maybe Sacramento
- Visit friends at other schools
- Make new friends :)
That's all I can think of right now...
