It's been so long since I've seen any of you guys! :( But the picture to the left shows I haven't changed much, yes? :)

I'm so sorry I haven't really been keeping in touch with any of you guys.. I've been sucked into college life - both socially and academically. When I'm in my dorm room, it's almost always raided with people, so I never really get any time to myself.. and the fact that I'm taking the most hardcore lower-division writing course on campus also explains why I never have the time for anything anymore. ;=; I'm trying really hard to keep up my grades and maintain a social life at the same time; it's pretty difficult. For the longest time, I was running on an average of 4-5 hours of sleep everyday. Apparently my brother hangs out with you guys more than I do too LOL so sad! :'( Who knew college was going to be this hard?! I've never tried so hard in school in my life.. but I will try to take a little time out of my day to check this thing more often.. haha.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to hang out over Thanksgiving to be honest (I really only have two and a half days to spend in Norcal that weekend, and most of it is going to be with family). I'll be able to hang out Thursday until 4pm and Saturday morning-early afternoon.. but if you can't make it, I'll see you guys over winter break for sure! I MISS YOU GUYS ♥

I just remember when Justher told me how awkward John Ohh is..."Ok dogs, I see some dogs. Any cats? No cats." and then "I want you to get out of your computer chairs and I don't know...love each other." WTF? HAHAHA!

Life Update!

So basically, two weeks ago, this bump on my thigh turned out to be an abscess! They did a bit of a procedure on it to take it out and clean it. But it felt kind of tender for the past few days so I went to the doctor's again today to get it checked up. The doctor says it looks kind of inflammed so he gave me some antibiotics, but all-in-all, I am well! Tired, but well :)

Oh I also realize I forgot to mention this in the video, but I MIGHT BE GETTING A NEW DOG SOON! A client had their doggie hospitalized at my dad's clinic and they couldn't afford to pay her bills so they sort of left the poor fella there. It's not confirmed for sure, but there's a good chance we'll be adding lovely Nina to our familia soon! Aww, here's a picture:

WHY DO I LOOK SO SCARY IN THIS STILL?!

Being back on MHS campus brings all of the memories back :) I never thought I'd say this, and even on graduation day when there was nothing but sentimentality in the air I wasn't as wistful, but I love Milpitas. High school turned out to be.. not exactly the best 4 years of my life, but I wouldn't trade it for the world and it beats middle school by a long shot. hope you guys are all having the time of your lives.

Procrastination...

sucks. I have a monstrous load of homework that could have easily been done and out of the way with, if I had only just kept on task. But no, you see, there is an unrelenting beast that lives within me. What is it? Procrastination. I am the worst procrastinator I know. And those of you who've seen the beast in action can attest to that. I slept at 6am the other day for homework that technically wasn't really due. Someone save me from myself.

Hm...I just realized that writing this means I'm procrastinating. -______- Why?!?

TEEHEE. I miss all of you wonderful people. <3 I see dopple gangers everyday, but not of you guys! This only reminds me that I have the coolest and most unique friends in the world. Run and tell that, homeboy!

When I said "I don't have anything else I can say in this blog" I really meant "I don't have anything else I can say on camera." I always have something to say on this blog, haha.

I have decided I will always do laundry on some sort of weekday. There's less embarrassment involved. The last time I did laundry I couldn't reach all my clothes in the dryer and I had to ask Alex for help. I really hoped there was no underwear in there and lo and behold, it was a couple towels and then (dun dun dun) brightly colored underwear! Agh.

He was nice about it, but still. I'd rather stand on a chair than have someone else grab my patterned underwear for me.

Too much to do

So it's 1 in the morning and I just finished my calc homework. I have an exam this Thursday (yes for calc agh shoot me now) and I don't feel ready at all. Anjelica is in our room drinking black tea as we try to get ready for the school week by finishing our homework at the lastlast minute.

Ello!

Welp, tomorrow's the day!..or today? since its 1am -_- Packing sucks! Haha, every time I look at the pile of things I need to pack, it always appears to double in size. D: Just starting to pack the night before move-in day was definitely not a good idea; everyone, including mi madre, warned me not to, but procrastination always gets the best of me. :( Lol! I can already hear the "I told you so!"s. Princess wasn't too happy about my procrastination, so I received my well deserved lecture. Teehee. Well, my mom's kind of glaring at me, because I'm pretty much procrastinating on packing again, so I'll end it here. I really am going to miss all of you! I've been truly privileged, not to mention extremely thankful, to know such a lovely group of people. I tremendously value the friendships that I have with each and every one of you. :) It's pretty funny how I've only just recently met some of you, yet I feel like I've known you for years! I love all of you guys, and I wish you guys the best of luck with everything! <3

Adventures at 2 in the morning

This was from a couple of days ago... really late Sunday night but technically Monday (Labor Day) morning. We saw four deer so now Alena, Luis, Ally, and I match up perfectly with them. Yay deer family! This video hardly shows anything, but it's something. This is right across the street from my residence hall, by the way.

We also saw a frog, but you can't really split a frog among four people.

Today I realized that I've spent 2-3 hrs contacting my future roommates via facebook, email, and skype on a daily basis for the past few days. That, in addition to my insidious knack for writing long, OCD-level to-do/to-buy/to-figure-out lists, have brought a considerable amount of joy to me (especially since I was initially dreading the thought of living in a cramped triple) But you know what? These cool cats have names (Connie & Tiffany, to be precise) and they're really nice people! The more and more I talk with them, the fewer nostalgia attacks I get and I have a feeling I'm going to be too swept up in Welcome Week madness to feel homesick. Win :)

Haircut

I got a haircut today! It makes me look like a twelve-year-old kid, but I guess that means I can play in the McDonald's playplace and eat at buffets for cheap now! :] LOL. Still, I can't wait for my hair to grow out; I'm okay with it, but I just feel like I look way too young with this cut. In the AP Biology video, I sounded like a prepubescent kid; now I LOOK like one too! -__- Hahaha. The only good things that come out of this haircut are I now have healthier hair and bangs that don't eat my face. :]

Finally, a new vlog. This time there is fire.

The letter was deeper than just embarrassing closers and immature wishes. It was just weird, realizing how I thought I had it all figured out in middle school. I was such a punk. I probably still am. I wonder if my 22 year old self will say that about my 18 year old self.

Freaking out

You guys, I still don't have all of my dorm stuff or new clothes like I wanted. I AM MOVING IN AUGUST TWENTY-SIXTH.

At the same time, the two farewell hang-outs from the past week have been so memorable, which of course, only works to make me more sad. I wrote a mess of an entry about this past Friday on my blog here.

So now I'm pretty much stressed and woefully reminiscing on days past. It's such a weird funk to be in.

So I was hanging out with Tiffany and Vicki tonight, and it was loads of fun. I learned a couple of different phrases in Mandarin, but none of them stuck except for "no good," haha...

I asked my parents how to say random crap today too. They think I'm crazy. More than they had always believed...

Anyway, you all get to see my new haircut and me smiling with my retainer on and behind on the white board is a new phrase I learned: JACKPOT!

Yeah, that entire first line collectively means jackpot. I told my parents that I wanted to buy a scratcher just to say that! I realize how crazy that sounds, but I really appreciate languages, ya'know? Learning random phrases is just how I show my appreciation! So under jackpot, it says "Losing is no good." Underneath that basically says, "Isn't that right, dad?"

My dad already knows that I wrote jackpot on the board, but he doesn't know about the rest. My mom knows nothing about this. I'm kind of excited to see what their reaction will be when I wake up...

Anyway, I should go. I have work tomorrow...

August is here, what?!

So, since my last vlog, I've watched Inception! Christopher Nolan is brilliant and a master at his craft!

I've also been talking to Thi Van quite a bit... He keeps asking me if I want to hang out, but I don't know what his intentions are. He's a genuinely good guy, but I'm not interested. I hope he and everyone else knows that. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Gah, I just helped him stand up to his ex-girlfriend too who just happens to be a good friend of mine. It's ridiculous, they're broken up, but they still end up breathing a lot of the same air when they're about ready to rip each other's throats out. Anyway, I shouldn't be bothering you with this. I just need help dealing with this whole hang out thing. Does anyone want to go hit golf balls on Saturday with me and Thi, possibly?

Anyway, I'm just gonna go to sleep. I'm so tired. Working mornings and nights is exhausting and I can't wait to be done with it. I can't wait to party it up at Disneyland, with The Maine, and mi familia!

It's about 10:20pm now, and I killed the fly! SO DISGUSTING, but now I can sleep soundly. I hate killing bugs, especially ones with exoskeletons...

I also have a fly in my room. I don't know where it went and I freaking HATE sleeping when I know that there are bugs in my room. It freaks me out! I just don't want bugs landing on me or crawling over me when I'm sleeping and I can't fend for myself, okay?

So before my princess's old best friend comes over with his in-laws, I decided to make a quick update!

I am so nervous and excited, and so many other emotions, for orientation all at the same time! I've heard good things about everyone's orientations and I can't wait to ingrain mine into memory! I also cannot wait to spy some cute boys that are in my college and potentially in my classes/majoring in the same thing that I am! (By the way, I was listening to "Kids In Love" by Mayday Parade. It just seemed to fit the summer mood...)

Like I said, I'll update again when I get back. By the way, if anyone wants to hang out Wednesday or Thursday when I get back, I have no work! But I am working pretty much all day Friday and Saturday. Still, I hope we're karoake-ing one of those days anyway.

I decided to be productive in procrastinating kind of way.
I can't figure out what file I need to upload these youtube videos for them to work on my video editors, but this one video of someone's cover of 3OH!3's "Don't Trust Me" works... It's strange. So since I couldn't figure that out, I decided to just randomly do a vlog and mess around with the video editing program. I used this one to edit both French videos in high school; it still frustrates me to death!
